sixteen_200x0__false_nocrop_trueThe first Holloway Arts Festival took place over two days on a hot sunny weekend in July, in what was then Peter Pan Park on Landseer Road, London N19 (now Landseer Gardens).

nine_200x0__false_nocrop_trueThe highlights were favourite local poet John Hegley, the inimitable Mr Boom and the site-specific circus performance after dark with Gandini Juggling and Scarabeus.

Local MP Jeremy Corbyn, councillors Laura Willoughby and Catherine West and GLA member Meg Hillier and Islington’s Mayor Doreen Blake all                                                      graced Holloway with their presence.

one_200x0__false_nocrop_trueThe festival was the last in a series of events designed to draw the local community into the project to have the park rebuilt. As of September 2004 this has happened and it is now known as Landseer Gardens.
