Join the Rowan Arts Production Club

There are still some places available at The Rowan Arts Production Club, which is open to young people aged 10 and 11. They will collaborate with a professional team of arts practitioners to devise and perform a site-specific performance for the Holloway Arts Festival in summer 2008.

The club will take place every Saturday from 26 April to 12 July 2008, 10.30am-12.30pm, at The Whittington Park Community Centre, Yerbury Road, N19.

During this time they will work with a director who will teach them drama skills and assist them to create their own storyline, characters and script. They will also learn production skills relating to the creative aspects of a production. There will be a variety of workshops including set and costume design, design, prop making, costume design, and puppetry design and construction. Finally they will take on roles as stage managers and actors to really bring the magic to life for the public.

To find out about places or to find out more, please contact Lili Barcroft on 07949 569 028 or at [email protected]. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
