Congratulations to Esther La Montagne, who won the Holloway Arts Festival 2014 Singer Songwriter Competition!

Esther is a singer/songwriter, musician  and artist. Esther goes by the name KIN KER aka My KIN KER Tribe. Esther started playing the guitar when she was 16 and attended The  Brit School, where she majored in Music. Esther left The Brit school early in order to pursue music on her own where she performed at festivals and open mics. In 2011 she graduated from City & Guild of London Art School in Fine Art Painting and Art History and has gone on to have a few shows. Although Esther now embarks on a musical career rather than a fine art one, her skills and love of performance art cross over into her music and she is forever delving into new and challenging ways to do things differently and feed her music, writing and performance. In regards to the future and where Esther would like to go, she is  working on recording and releasing her first EP, KIN KERS’s rough bedroom recordings, aptly titled, ‘SPRING DEMO: TESTING TESTING’.
