BIG SING at ST. LUKE'S
Saturday 3rd July 2010 3.00 – 6.15pm (timings to be confirmed)
On Saturday 3rd July, Big Sing will take place at St.Luke's Church. Last year’s Big Sing! attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd in a smaller space, hence this year’s bigger venue.
A number of choirs will perform for about 10 minutes each at Big sing as part of the event, and if you would like your choir to be considered, please contact us as soon as possible!

Entry to the whole event is free to all participants.
Here’s what the afternoon will involve: around 5 choirs will be joined by anyone else who wants to sing (age 10+) for an hour or so of learning simple and inspirational songs in glorious harmony. The teaching will be by ear, and will be a lot of fun, and led by experienced singing leader, Angela Reith.
There will then be a short break when refreshments will be on sale, during which the audience will arrive for the Choir Concert. The Concert will feature the songs learned earlier, as well as a short performance from each choir.
The Concert will end with everyone, including the audience, joining in a final song.
There will be a keyboard available for accompanying the choir – but a capella performances are encouraged. Please let us know as soon as possible if your choir would be interested in being considered for this fun event. Thanks very much!
