Holloway Arts Festival 2012 will storm the streets from the 1st - 10th of June. Celebrating its tenth year, the festival will bring a riot of eclectic music, spoken word, film, comedy, crafts, theatre and outdoor events.
Join us for comedy with Josie Long, conversation with the Ballet Boyz, fun times with John Hegley and a riveting solo performance by acclaimed writer AL Kennedy. Drop in to the Jubilee Tearooms at the Mayton Street Festival, hang out at the Reel Islington Film Screenings and plunge into the Deep South with theatre group Sinister Shadow.

Festival Highlights
Award winning comedian Josie Long will be performing at the festival Comedy Night on Thursday 7th of June. Described by the Sunday Times as "one of Britain's bright new hopes of the comedy scene", Long was nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2011.
Wednesday 6th of June the founders of pioneering dance company Ballet Boyz William Trevitt and Michael Nunn will participate in the 'Connecting Conversations' series with psychoanalyst Luis Rodríguez de la Sierra
As part of Sunday Best on the 10th of June acclaimed writer and deadpan comedian A.L. Kennedy shares with the audience how she found her voice in her riveting solo performance Proof of Life.
John Hegley will be bringing his hit Edinburgh show to the Festival. Animal Alphaboating for all is an exclusive performance created especially for all who can stay up this late. Includes goats and boats, fish and ships, yachts and guillemotting. In turn, jolly, melancholly and melifluid. No hamsters.
On Saturday the 2nd of June Mayton Street will be filled with an amazing array of artists, activities and events at the Mayton Street Festival. Come down and get involved or simply soak up the atmosphere at what promises to be the best street party in North London this summer.
Big Day Out returns to Whittington Park on Sunday the 3rd of June. With lots of fantastic live music, performers and a whole host of interesting stalls this is the perfect Sunday afternoon for everyone to enjoy.
The Meet the Professionals series is back and is better than ever. This year there is a fantastic line-up of arts professionals for you to meet including Festival Producer Chas de Swiet, Artist David Blandy and Composer Stephen Daltry.
